Could you please tell me where are the styles of:
http://mydomain.com/groups/any-group name/ are coming from and how to change it?

body.single-item.groups.home div#footer {
    background: #FFFFFF;
    border-top: 6px solid;
    text-align: center;
    width: 1300px;
    margin: 0 auto;
}
body.single-item.groups.home div#footer div {
    color: #393939 !important;
}
body.single-item.groups.home div#footer a {
    color: #393939 !important;
}

Its just because it uses home styles.
Add that to style.css of child theme 🙂
