Buddypress profile descriptions

Hi.

I cant see my Buddypress profile descriptions on the single view. And I want to show it on the home page by the by the Buddypress carosoul view.

 

Please help.

Hello, you cannot see the profile fields at the carousel just at the profile page and some fields at the directory. To do that, you will need to edit the carousel code and print the profile fields. I suggest to hire a developer that can do it for you 🙂

Hi. Thanks for the reply. But how do I see the descriptions on the Buddypress single profiles. I saw it before, but Im not sure where to turn it on again?

Ive seen on the demo that some users do show their descriptions on the carousel > https://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/members/

Hello, that is not a carousel, its the members directory. A carousel is the widget that displays the members while sliding horizontally

Thanks for the reply. But you still haven’t answered my original question. Where do I turn on the descriptions for the Buddypress profiles? I had it before. See screenshot attached. Hope Im clear this time.

Hello, there is no description there, just activity posts. Where did you see a description there at the demo?
