Buddypress title image upload fails

Hi guys,

i tried to upload a title background image for a buddypress group. but i allways get the same error message, that there “was a problem during the image upload”.

Uploading a background in personal profile works like a charm.

I deactivated all plugins (not true: BuddyPress was obviously active 😉 ) Just Kleo as Theme and Buddypress. both in their most current Version. Problem remains.

I even get no error in the console (Browser: Iron – Version 64.0.3350.0 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit))

Please help 🙂

Can you also share username / password details for the page protection on your staging site so I can look into this for you.
