Hi,
when quest use standard register, he must fill in required information that admin agreed in (dashboard/Profile/profile fields/basic. When quest do not fill required information in register page he can not be a member in sweetdate.but…
when he use a register via facebook, he does not have required information and he is a full member.
when user, who fill in all information in register page go to edit profile page and delete a few REQUIRED in register information, he is still FULL MEMBER
Please help, i think that: when user do not fill a required information he can’t go to next page. He can see only register page (when he use standard register page) or edit profile page (when he use register via facebook).

For the fields in registration you should also make them required from Users – Profile fields

When user, who fill in all information in standard register page go to edit profile page and delete a few REQUIRED in register information, he is still FULL MEMBER, why?
I think that the “required” does not satisfy in this case its role. Either something is “required” or not. Please give a positive reference to this issue and improve it.
March 23, 2014 at 01:53 #13268AbeKeymasterYou might not have read my answer above when I said that you can define each field required from the profile edit page and I don’t mean just by adding it to the Base group but editing the field and making it as required.. yes there is an option there

Please try in sweetdate demo site.
Either something is “required” or not.
Do you understand the definition of the word REQUIRED?

March 25, 2014 at 18:32 #13440AbeKeymasterWell I guess we know the meaning of a required fields 😉
You might have noticed that if you save the profile without selecting a REQUIRED field you can’t continue:

Also maybe you are doing your tests as admin since that will pass over the restrictions and ignore themHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution---

I think that until it fills the required data, user should not be able to go to the next page.
In sweetdate “required” works as “optional”.
Tell me how to force the user to pass the required data? User register in (give the required data), next log on and remove the required data and still be able to enjoy all the pages in my site.
It would be grate to programme a page with editing data profil in such a way that the user can not leave her until you submit all the required data. The person who registered via facebook would be must given reguired data.
Please discuss this in your team.
March 25, 2014 at 19:04 #13458AbeKeymasterIn our tests the field that is required won’t save the empty value when the notice will appear. Check that.
