Bug with BuddyPress update

We’re getting the following showing up on the group page:

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘bp_group_new_topic_button’ not found or invalid function name in /home8/fromchao/public_html/buddypress/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286

I’ve just installed the Kleo update, and it didn’t make it go away.

Oops, sorry, that’s clearly a BuddyPress bug, not yours, what was I thinking?! Please ignore!

No wait … ! … it IS the theme … the bug goes away when I change to 2018 theme.

Any ideas?

Hi Julie,

Did you install the BuddyPress 3.0 update? We do not have official support for it yet, so if you have, you’ll need to do the following.

– Update KLEO to v 4.3.7
– Go to WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Options’ > Scroll to: ‘Template Pack’ and select ‘BuddyPress Legacy’ from the drop down menu
– Save your options, clear your website cache, CDN and your front-end cache (Ctrl+F5)

Please let me know if this continues after updating the theme.
