cannot view picture in buddypress activity wall

hi when i upload a status with picture in buddypress activity, i can’t see the attached picture in the activity wall anymore. it only shows the text. the picture gets uploaded- i can see it in the Media tap in my profile but not in the activity wall.
any idea ?

p.s I am using rtMedia pro, problem since i switched to managed server

Hi,
I can see that photo was shown before on your activity page, I have attached a screenshot. But if you face problem recently, then you can refresh your page after deactivating any newly activated plugin, If this does not solve your problem, please try to give me a temporary access to your site privately here, I will have a look on the issue directly.

I moved to managed server and it should be very fast now, but it is the complete opposite ;( I switched off
all plugins and than reactivated only the super essential plugins, still I have big problems. I can’t properly add status posts anymore. If I try to add a new status post with picture on

than nothing is happening. eventually after 5 minutes and only with a reload refresh of the page the text appears but wan’t show the picture. I can’t understand what’s going on it.
the only thing i did was to install IoncubeLoader ( since I thought it is needed and zend ). I also add some code in the htaccess.

can i send you the login as private reply ?

sorry kamal, i still don’t get when these messages are not visible to the public.

dear kamal,
i still have the problem with my activity status picture uploads.
however i found out that if i wait really really long ( like 30 seconds ) and if i refresh on my own than the post appears with picture.

– do really need the RS Buddypress Activity Refresh Plugin ? is Kleo not refreshing status updates ?
– any other ideas how to fix it ? it is a big problem for me right now, my users think my website is not working ;(

use the login widget on the right side please. Type in

username: kamal
pswd: kamal1234

you will be redirected to the page http://kawaii.com/member-activity/

you will see, if you add a text with an attached picture and upload it, the page will not refresh or refresh super late. this makes my users think that the system is not working. they than click twice or more times and causing multiple uploads or cancel the upload. please let me know what you think.
I disabled all plugins and it was not a plugin bug. of course the performance was better, but i still had to refresh the browser on my own.

Hi kamal, i saw you did some posting tests on my site.
Do you have any idea how to fix the refresh problem ?
Is there any way to force a refresh after a post is done in the buddypress-function.php

everytime i upload and wait nothing is happening. if i hit browser refresh the post is there with picture looking good.

i really checked several times. the refresh is not triggered or delayed..I dunno.

I have to solve it. Please let me know what you think.

hi, the page should not refresh and just send the request by AJAX and show the picture in the activity once that is achieved. We will try to add a loading icon or something in the next update so the user will know that the system is thinking
