Hi – I am having a lot of trouble creating the register/login form on my front page (Get Connected – Vertical). I originally had the Kleo register element, but that disappeared somehow. I wanted to change the fields, so I followed the directions in the documentation and changed the profile fields in the BuddyPress plugin (users –> profile fields) and the Kleo element didn’t change. I set the “Register” and “Activate” pages to my front page, and after that my home page just redirected to film.filmpatico.com/members, which I don’t want as my front page. All I want is the box on the left to be a register/login box, with the fields “username,” “email,” “password,” and “confirm password”, with the “login with facebook” option at the bottom (OR “login with Facebook”). Is the Kleo register element different from using BuddyPress? I’m confused and can’t find an answer for my problem anywhere.
Also just a quick thing – could you please tell me how to remove the menus from the front page only? I saw an option for it once but can’t find it now. I just changed the style to transparent white to make it disappear for now, but I know there’s a way to just remove it.
Thank you in advance!

The shortcode by default it’s set to be hidden fot logged in users
Maybe that’s you had noticed the form dissappeared, this may be missing if you de-activate the k-elements or visual compsoer plugins.Yes they are different the shortcode will pulls only the essential fields username, fullname, email, pass and confirm pass. no way to change or to add more or less easly and the default register buddypress page will pull all fields that are under base group under wp-admin -> users -> profile fields.
You can hide the menu in that page following this
Create a empty menu in that you will add nothing and assign it on that page.
Check also the Homepage Redirect and pop-up redirect settings from there you can handle the theme redirections.
Cheers
