CAPTCHA issue

Hi,

I am have integrated CAPTCHA. I have done few tests and I remarked that if I tried to recover my password I do not see the CAPTCHA box, instead I got the message like in the screen shot attached. How can I fix this.

Hi Radu,

I am using WP-reCAPTCHA-bp. I think it was recommended on the theme site. Did you tested with different plugin?

Hi Radu,

I have tested with the new file but it did not work. More or less same issue. Also the proposed plugin did not work as expected. I cannot see any recaptcha being added on my register page. The keys are correct. or should I added the shortcode [bws_google_captcha] on some pages? Please advise.

Hi Radu,

This morning the new plugin got somehow activated and the captcha appeared on the login form, however, I was not able to login with any of the users I had. Even the admin got blocked. The massage I got was that username or password is wrong, I had to go on FTP and rename the folder of the google recaptcha to be able to access my site. Once I did that I was able to login again with same users/passwords. So definitively, this plugin is not working fine as well with the theme.

Kindly advise. Captcha is a nice feature, I will like to keep it on my site as it reduces the risks of spams quite a lot.

Make sure to have development ON . from theme options -> misscellaneous

Hi Radu,

I have saved the file you added on pastebin as app.js and upload the file over ftp. Development was ON. However, I have exactly same error when I tried to recover my password. What I am not sure is if the initial file that you mentioned to replace the content of wp-content/themes/sweetdate/page-parts/general-forgot-modal.php should also be uploaded.

I had fixed and tested that, it should be ok now on both login and forgot,

Let me know.

There was needed to be modified multiple files and better it’s to re-install theme or to re-upload theme files over the existing one by overwriting them.

Buna Radu,

Doar sa stii, partea cu captcha pe care ai rezolvat-o in acest post nu a fost inclusa in ultimul release. Am testat din nou si nu a mers. M-am uitat inca o data in file-urile ce le-ai atasat aci si am copiat din nou partile de cod care nu le-ai actualizat si problema e din nou rezolvata.

In js vad ca exista fixu, in schimb in acest fisier nu.

Re-public acestea dupa ce imi confirmi.

da ala e unul dintre fisiere. Si a mai trebuit sa adaug in functions.php in functia kleo_lost_password_js() partea cu ‘g-recaptcha-response’. In rest totul a fost ok.

Ok, vad ca kleo_lost_password_js() si partea de js din app.js exista si era in update-ul recent, singurul lucru ce lipsea era hookul de lost_pas din general-forgot-modal.php
