Categories of other plugins does not show up at front-end

Hello,

 

I am using a great plugin of BP Portfolio( https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-portfolio/), and it just similar to Social articles.

The reason why I use it instead of Social articles is that it support to upload more images, but social article only support one cover image.

The only problems that I can not put in the custom categories name in Visual composer> element setting, like Kleo posts Carousel or News Focus,  so that it can filter output the content I want. Please check the Screenshot at: http://prntscr.com/e7tjra

Would you please let me know how to resolve it, thanks.

Thanks. Yes, I found BP project categories is Taxonomies in WordPress or Kleo theme, actually, I think it is custom post type to Kleo theme at least.

Actually, I use the plugin of Add Tags And Category To Page And Post Types

So that I can assign wordpress standard post Category to BP Project posts, but still I can not filter output BP project posts from front-end post, and only can output by putting BP Project categories in Visual composer Taxonomies area. Since the front-end user can not choose WordPress standard categores, and only can choose BP Project categories that were customed at backend when they post at front-end.

So, The total or complete solution of wordpress standard categories works BP project, I think, is make wordpress standard categories visible at BP project front-end.

For now, I take the benifit for the above way is that I can control the Carousel content by manually choosing BP project post and assign specific WordPress category, that means the only BP project post only what I choose will be show up in Carousel area.

I am not not developer or technical backgroud, and this is really tough for me:)

Hi,

You can filter those by building using kleo posts a loop with only those posts, in this way will be displayed only that post types
