Hi there,

I need to hide the text “Category archive” for category pages, but keep the category name. Could you explain how to custom into the php or another solution?

Hi Sharmstr,
I did as mentioned in the link, but nothing happened. Just to check:

1. Open the child’s <functions.php>
2. Paste the code from the forum:
https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/hide-archive-for-category-in-the-title#post-64723

3. Replace <‘Archive for category:’> with ”

Then still is appearing the <‘Archive for category:’> in the title.

Not sure what you’ve configured, but I cant get to your editor to check your code.

I’ve also noticed that you’re running an old version of Kleo, k-elements and visual composer. You should upgrade.

As I’m developing this project I would not update anything at this moment. Is that an inconvenient for the <‘Archive for category:’> text to hide?

In the other hand, K Elements made some compatibility issues with one of the plugins that I need.

k-element is required with kleo.

I’m trying to do that but I don’t find any kleo update option in wp menu.
