Change forum subscribe link icon to a +

In forums the subscribe button defaults to having a tick/check icon next to it when you’re not subscribed. This is crazy, as to most people that looks like a confirmation that you *are* subscribed, which is not the case. IMHO the font icon should be a + instead, making it clear that clicking the link will add you as a subscriber.

(Imagine a link to add a friend that was captioned “√ FRIEND” – you’d think you were already friends with them, right? Same sort of confusion with “√ SUBSCRIBE”…)

The attached image is what it looks like here in the Kleo support forums, see how confusing it is?

BTW, it might be worth installing the “bbPress auto subscribe for new topics and replies” plugin to ensure that your customers are subscribed to their forum topics and get notifications when someone replies – otherwise they might not realise there’s been a response and think your support is slow.
