    Hi,

    When registered with FB, the username is created by default as firstname-lastname.

    1. Is there any way – I can allow users to change their username once they have logged in?
    2. Can I completely remove the functionality of usernames if using buddypress ?

    using kleo 2.0

    Thanks
    Abi

    Hello,

    1. Users can change their names from their profile using the edit section ( see screenshot)
    2. i don’t really understand… you want the user names not appear in the entire site but keep the name?

    Thank you,
    Catalin

    Thanks Catalin for the Reply.

    – Users can change their name using edit. My query was around the “username”. For example when a user sign in with name Katie Hest using FB –
    Her name appears as “Katie Hest” and user name appears as “Katie-Hest”

    How can I allow the user to change the username as well ?

    Thanks

    that is not possible… you can hide the username and let only the name field… search this forum, this has been discussed.

    BuddyPress Username Changer plugin works perfectly to accomplish this. You can edit the “username” in addition to the “name”.
