Since the latest update, our custom changes have reverted back to their original state and we are unable to reinstate some of them.

We had originally found and used this topic https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/google-map as a guide in changing out the logo on the contact us google map. The instructions said to change the code in the /themes/sweetdate-child/page-templates/contact.php file, but our sweetdate-child folder did not have that file. The only way to change the icon was to upload our logo to the same path as the original icon, and rename it to fit (removing the original). Our file is still in the specified location, but on our website it has reverted back to the sweetdate icon – which no longer exists. Are you able to look into this for me please as I am not sure how it’s being overridden?

Hi, you should have used a child theme and modified the code by copying the file to the child theme.
” If you don’t want to lose the customization on theme update, activate the child theme and copy the template file in the same exact folder location in sweetdate-child and edit it there. “
