    Hello Radu,
Very hard to say, ’cause I have no idea when it stoppad working.
Haven’t made any changes that I can think of, except for some text updates on frontpage, new background images on frontpage…and regular updates.

Please can you investigate in this issue? And hope it wont take another 48 hours ?, please ?..

    Best Regards,
    Jenni

    Hi,
    The login credentials, not works.

Did you have updated BuddyPress to latest version these days ? If yes today we have released a new theme update that fixes some BuddyPress issue, can you please update the theme and test before providing correct admin credentials? Beside this please test the matching system after theme update with child theme de-activated.

    Let me know

    Cheers

    Hi Radu,
    Thanks for your quick reply!!
Yes, sorry.. I also had difficulties to login yesterday. So I logged in with my second admin account.. I get back to you with this in case I don’t make the matching system work.

One question…Do you mean I should do the theme update while child theme is deactivated or do you mean that I should test the matching system with child theme deactivated after theme update??

    Best Regards,
    Jenni

I mean in the initial case without theme update to disable child theme and to use parent only then try to use the matching system to see if it works, if not update theme having child theme activated then try again the matching system.

PS: The login credentials still not works.

    Cheers

    Hi Radu,

    1. I deactivated child theme, but matching system didn’t work anyway.
    2. I updated Sweetdate, but matching system still doesn’t work, either with child theme deactivated or not.

    Here are my credentials:

    bildafamilj.nu/wp-admin
    Username: Admin
    Password: Admin0<3

Thank you for investigating in this issue!

    Hi Radu,
thanks a lot for the video, but I think you misunderstood me…
It is the MATCHING PERCENT CIRCLE that ends up on 50 % no matter if the members have similar hobbies etc. It ends up at 50 % on all members. That’s my setting if nothing matches in their profile fields.

So, if you log in as Admin, and go to Admina, cause they have similar hobbies….but it ends on 50%.

Thank you for looking into this!

    Hi,

I saw that, I’ve tried for significant amount of time to test what causes that and I cannot figure out.
Can you please try yo re-upload them parent theme over the existing theme files?
On my local install the matching system works as it should

    Cheers

    Hello Radu,
thanks for your time! But could you please let me know exactly what troubleshooting you did ?
Did you for example see if there was any plugin that conflicted with the theme?

“re-upload them parent theme over the existing theme files”
Okay, I just updated it through a plugin, but I will do as you say, and download it to my computer and the upload it.
But ANOTHER ISSUE!! I can’t even get into my site! So I ran Pingdom….It says 5,59 sec, but now I can’t get into my site at all. These are the reports from Pingdom:

Another funny thing is that the Admin password doesn’t longer work, as I had difficulties the other day with Oceanglim….Is this common??

    Jenni

    Hi

I’ve activated deactivated plugins and child theme to test, but after I’ve debugged there the site was works as before but I don’t know what’s going on on your server when I access it now it looks like this:

I saw that you get problems from time in time so, I recommend you to hire a web developer to maintain your site as it should and to fix problems if something appears like this situation.

So our support service cannot include this kind of debugging, at this moment WordPress it’s not loaded also theme.

My advice it’s to ask to your hosting to restore your website files+database to a date when all works including matching system.

    Cheers

    Hi Radu,
Thanks a lot for your efforts!
I know! I don’t know either what happened with my site and the access. I contacted my webhost and they said it completely ran out of space. It was impossible to reach it at all, so I upgraded my webhost package and I also asked them to block my site to all other IP:s except mine so I could go in and block other countries. Anyway I wasn’t sure which country you were in, so I asked them to remove the blocking after it just started to work properly again. But they seemed to not remove the blocking. But now they removed the blocking, so it is accessable again!

Anyway, all of a sudden the bad reports on Pingdom was gone and my site loaded faster than 100 % of Pingdom-tested sites. I guess you fixed that, did you?? I am very greatful if that is the case!

    – If I restore my database and files to a date when the matching system worked, what will happen to the registered users that are registered after that? Should I export them to a file and then upload them after restore. Is there any plugin you recommend for that?? Or some other way?

    Best Regards,
    Jenni

    Hi Radu!

Well, I really don’t know what to do. My host hasn’t saved any complete backup from earlier so I feel really screwed.

Do you think I can try to combine the plugin “Match me for BuddyPress” with the SweetDate? Is it possible? Or using their shortcode somehow??

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/match-me-for-buddypress/

Or otherwise I guesa I have to build the site all from the beginning as I had to do when I had the Profile Pic Uploader issue.

    I just read in Editor > Sweetdate: theme_options.php (framework/theme_options.php)

“* Require the framework class before doing anything else, so we can use the defined URLs and directories.
    * If you are running on Windows you may have URL problems which can be fixed by defining the framework url first.”

I don’t really get this, but I am using Windows. Should I do anything?

I just installed “Match Me for BuddyPress”….so now I have two circles, ha ha…One on the left side and one on the right side. Any easy way to remove the SweetDate one?? Yours is nicer though.

    Best Regards,
    Jenni

    Hi,

You can hide our matching circle using this CSS

    .circular-item {
        display: none;
    }

Combining plugin with our circle theme it’s not possible it require custom development

    Cheers

    Hi Radu,
Thanks a lot for the code!

“Combining plugin with our circle theme it’s not possible it require custom development”
I see…but it seems to work very fine…What problems could it result in, that I use the “Match me for Buddypress”-plugin??
Or do you mean it could result in problems when having both circles, but not if I remove the SweetDate’s circle?

    Best Regards,
    Jenni

I thought by combining you are referring at the PHP functionalities etc…, if they work ok you can use both

IF both circles are displayed theoretically cannot be problems.

    Cheers
