Changing title Bar background colour

Hi,
How do I change the title bar background colour, I have been trying the setting from theme general setting in post/page, but nothing has changed! Please help! My idea is to change the default grey colour to completely white, and no bottom border, thanks.

@sharmstr – I’ve tried on different computers, but still can’t get it right, very strange!! You can view my page and see if you see any difference, http://taiwan098.com/category/overseas-elite/, I have set both to white colour.

While I have you accessing our site, can you visit a page at http://taiwan098.com/認識世界台灣商會聯合總會及歷任總會長/, I have set the feature items 3 per row, but it doesn’t display all in order. It displays fine on my macbook, all browsers, but then it display 2 items then 1 items for the first two row, it does the same on tablet device, you can check the attachment, Any ideas why? Thanks

I have disabled the right-click. Also, I click the button from the browser to clear while I am still login. But I normally don’t need to perform this to see the effect. This is odd to me somehow!! 🙁

If you look at your page source, somewhere you’ve hardcoded the background color.

Its only going to display as many featured items as it can fit. The smaller the screen size, it will move one to the bottom.

@sharmstr – I am not sure if you are talking about the code I have inserted into quick-css for the title bar background, pls refer the attachment.

Regarding the feature items, I point it out because I have no problem with one of our page with 4 items per row (check this page link at http://taiwan098.com/useful-links/) but the one I am having issues with, that is very strange to me, I didn’t do anything to modify the page coding or beyond my knowledge), Do you get 3 per row from your side or the same as my attached images?

Yes, I see 3 featured items as I’ve shown you in the image I attached previously. But if the page width is smaller, it will only show 2.

Can I suggest that you set up a test site that doesnt have any modifications so that you can refer to it when you have issues to see if its a Kleo issue or something you’ve done to the site?

@sharmstr – this site is pretty clean, I haven’t done any modifications except from you and your colleague, Radu so far. All modifications are those files in Child theme, nothing else! (Remember I am still a learner for WordPress). That’s why I couldn’t figure out why! I can always install a clean copy of Kleo, it will make no difference to me, should I do that?

We dont have the time to test the changes we give you to ensure they wont screw up other parts of the site. You ask us for a solution for 1 item and we give you that solution without knowing or remembering that we gave you other code. Its up to you to remember that and to remove it if there is an issue with another part of the site. Then you can come back to us and say that it worked, but it messed up something else.

@sharmstr – This is really tricky to me, now the title bar comes back with grey colour background, see the attachment!! It was fine then now back to the default setting again! 🙁

I also tried to change the text colour in title bar, I did it in styling options -> text color, but nothing has changed after saving it. What is the best solution to resolve this? Thanks

I keep telling you this. You need to purge the cache. I logged in, clicked purge SG cache and now the color is blue. Please, either disable your cache until you have your site set up or remember to purge it after changes.
