CometChat NOT SHOWING UP

I had CometChat installed and running on our previous theme but when we installed this KLEO theme it no longer showed up.
and yes, we DID re-copy and paste the two CometChat Header.php lines. Shows up in our source code.

We have tried all possible solutions and even searched this forum but all the developer says is it’s a 3rd party issue but it’s not because it works perfectly fine with all other themes and the cometchat service works fine up until activating KELO theme, (and Child theme as well in an attempt to make it work.)

Hopefully someone on here has a solution for this issue. CometChat was not cheap coming in at $500 so we need this to work.

Aside from this issue the theme is F&*KING AMAZING! Great job!

Hi there,
Try putting it in footer.php before wp_footer line. If you put it in header.php then in should be right before wp_header

Hi I am having the same issues. I have downloaded Cometchat for wordpress and tried in the header file and as recommended above in the footer.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

+1 on this. Would love to integrate my cometchat in this theme. I have also been unsuccessful in my attempts.

Hi there. We fixed the problem and now Cometchat works nicely. Until next theme update please update following files with the content from the attached files:
– wp-content\themes\kleo\assets\css\plugins.css
– wp-content\themes\kleo\kleo-framework\lib\function-core.php

This is update is for KLEO theme. I am using sweetdates theme…can you send me the udpated code for sweetdates?

Hey guys, I replaced the – wp-content\themes\kleo\assets\css\plugins.css file with your file attached. When trying to replace the – wp-content\themes\kleo\kleo-framework\lib\function-core.php file with the same attached file and it broke my site. Was there supposed to be a second file to replace with?

Also, I went ahead and tried to install cometchat buddypress/wordpress versions with only rewriting the plugins.css file and nothing appears. Didn’t know if this would help you.

@rwilkes6 Sweetdate is already compatible with CometChat. Nothing needs to be done

@Creative Inhabitants I said to replace file contents with the one attached since the attached one is a text file
