Coming soon page with just the minified registration part

Hi,
Before launching the website, I would like users to register some informations, like filling in the minified registration that stands on the homepage. (I will probably suppressed the rest of the homepage)
What would you suggest?
I am currently thinking of :
– a plugin like “BP registration options” to avoid members to access the website until they are not “verified”. I assume it means that the whole registration process will have to be achieved.
– No plugin and just hidding things or disabling access to pages (like “activation”,…)?

Hello, you can just have all the fields you need in Base in Users > Profile fields and make them required, because Base group is the group of fields that appear in registration page. If you add more fields and make them required, they will need to fill them in order to register

By the way, I’ve just realized that I can’t find the php file for the homepage (want to get rid of the some part). Where is it?

Another question, not sure a updated answer has been given on the forum:
I would like to translate the theme in French. Some words are already translated correctly, some are not or even not translated. How come ?
Shoul I manually change incorrect words though Poedit for instance?
Does it exist an update somewhere (which kind of update: Seewdate theme.po ? BP.po?)
How could Loco or Codestying plugins help me in this way?

Hello, for homepage, its not a php file, go to wp admin and in Pages ,find Home or “Front page” one

About the translation, with Loco Translate, go to your language in Sweetdate and start translating, then save 🙂
