ParticipantThe comments have disappeared upon the installation of the Kleo template; I have set it to allow subscribers and commenting. There was Facebook comments on the site before the template was installed; that’s gone too now. How do I override the template settings for comments?

ParticipantInteresting…on my 2 big blog posts, no comments are to be found anywhere. On the most recent quotes post, only the WP comments box is visible. I have the FB comments plugin, and it’s not showing up on the new posts. I see it on the Kleo demo posts, just not on my posts. Any idea for what can be causing this? I checked my settings, everything seems to be enabled so I have to be overlooking something.

ParticipantUPDATE: It’s not showing on the Standard Posts type. It shows up on the Quotes, Video, Image, Gallery, etc post types. It doesn’t show up on the Standard Post type. This is the first time this happened- any ideas?

ParticipantBoth of them. What I’m saying is if the post is classified as Standard format, none of the comment options show up.
If it is an Image format, both WP and FB comments show.

ModeratorThank you for the clarification. But here is a standard one on your site that shows the comments: http://blog.deafniche.com/2014/02/05/my-daily-blog-entry-2/
Are you sure that on this one, you have the comments enabled? http://blog.deafniche.com/2015/12/31/first-ever-dhh-rose-parade-float-viewing/
A common misunderstanding is that if you turn on comments at the site level, is that WP will turn on comments for every post. This is not the case. If a post was created with the comments disabled, you have to turn them back on via the page editor.
Let me know if that’s the case.
