Complete Signup bug?

I am having a problem with the Complete Sign Up button on the register page.
I am only using the supplied plugins with this theme.

I have installed the demo content for testing.
The problem is when I have filled out the small (create an account) button on the homepage and it takes me to the register page, I fill out the remainder of the information and click the Complete Sign up button, the page just refreshes.

I tried disabling BuddyPress and did the same process, except it took me to a different register page and also took me to the paid membership options, it worked at this point, but with BuddyPress disabled I have lost all functionality of that plugin, which I need for the site to function in the way I need it to.

Do you have any suggestions?
I am testing it on my local machine using mamp, I have also tried disabling the them and also reinstalled it all from scratch and I am still having the same issue.

It appears that the issue was due to the fact that I was hosting the server locally.

Once uploaded, with a few tweaks here and there, everything started to work properly.
