Cover Image disappears on Child theme

Hi,

I’m having trouble with Kleo Child not displaying new Cover image, when I revert to Kleo the cover image is there – tested on web and localhost with only BuddyPress and K elements activated, using Kleo 4.1.3 so should be replicable on a test site easily enough

Hi,

So.. from what I see your problem it’s related to child theme if you de-activate it you have the cover photo functionality and if you turn the child on, they get rig… in this case it means that some of you modifications from child causes this…

Do you have same issue running Kleo 4.1.3 with and without child ?

Hi Radu,

clean Kleo install, no mods on child theme, but when child theme activated and cover image changed, cover image reverts to grey gradient when you change BuddyPress pages, but when switched back to Kleo main theme the new cover image shows. On child when adding new image it gets accepted and shows on the the page you are on, e.g. Profile, but if you then go to other page like Activity it is gone…

try it on a fresh install yourself…? I tried it on one with nothing but BuddyPress and K elements active…

Hi, I’ve tried to reproduce this on my local environment this but i cannot, you have the possibility to put your website online and to provide to me FTP and Wp-admin access to investigate this issue ?

Try also to un-install BuddyPress and to re-install…

Hi Radu,

I also retreed on a fresh install and all was ok, so on my main site I deleted the theme and child and reloaded them and it worked great, so probably close this now..thanks for your help,
