Hello,
I have tried to translate the strings included in the cover photo plugin but they don’t seem to work.
I have tried both methods to use
1) poedit -> update the strings contained in the source and translate them to Korean.(somehow not working)
2) codestyle -> also rescanned and generated mo-file but did not work.
Could you please suggest me with some other ways to find the rootcause of this ?
or is this translation problem a known issue ?Thank you.

I must say i am quite surprised. Is the mention above the best solution??
Language translation should be flexible for any properly registered plugin i believe.
Could you please give more hands for looking into this issue ?
I read in the other threads that some had similar problems.
I would like to know if this is temporarily unresolved problem. Many thanks for your support.

February 22, 2015 at 21:59 #47187gerrybParticipanthello friend, have version 1.0.4 BuddyPress Cover Photo?
if so, the Uninstall 1.0.4!
install the 1.0.3, do your translations with CodeStyling Localization, it worked for me! This is a bag of version 1.0.4!
I hope you can helpFebruary 23, 2015 at 17:01 #47279ahd904ParticipantYou have actually made a point.
I think there are not many strings to translate for this plugin file.
I have followed them in the php file and changed them all.
You can close the issue.
@gerryb, thank you for your suggestion but i have decided that i might as well just use the updated version and translate the strings manually in the file as i have described above.Thank you all,
SB
February 24, 2015 at 08:45 #47376AbeKeymasterYou should not translate the php files… you should translate them the normal way with .mo/po files.
You should know that after updating the plugin your old translation files were probably deleted and you need to put them back on.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution---

1) made with poedit: does not work!
2) codestyling localization: it does not work!3) I use wordpress for 6 years.
NOTE: BPCP WITH VERSION 1.0.3 WORKED WELL
thanks
February 24, 2015 at 10:03 #47383MPatacconiParticipantI have the same problem. CodeStyling Localization worked well with BPCP 1.0.3 but it doesn’t work with 1.0.4.

I did not mind change those strings temporarily but as these commentors also mention, it is not working.
Besides, i want to let you know that it was my first time installing the cover photo plugin so i did not have any debris of 1.0.3 at all.
Let me know later if there is really problem with the plugin or we are all missing something.
Thank you. Great theme.
