Cover photo width

Hello,

If you could please see the attached picture,

I have applied the full-width template but i would like to shorten the width to same as the width of buddypress template as i have indicated in the screen capture,(without changing the template to something not full-width)

What is the css that i should apply to fix this ?
i have applied a few on my own but i am having difficulty with it.

I was hoping to do this because the image quality in pixel is not nice unless we have really high quality photos.

Please let me know.
