Create account or login to see forums

Hello,

My forums are public and I need them to be private till someone creates and account and login.

I fallowed Raud’s instructions but now I get 404 error when you are not logged in.

Can a user be redirected to the login page or the membership when they are not logged in?

Hi,

Go to WP-Admin -> Forums -> Edit the form that you want to be private -> Look in right side Forum Attributes – > Visibility – SET Private.

Please note,

2 of the forums are set to private and you will see the 404 error.
The last forum is viable by anyone.

Hello, i tested it and sa “You do not have the required membership level to access that forum.” not the 404 error
Could you guide me on the steps to see it?

I just changed the setting of the forums to public.
When the settings are set to private I get the error.
I also installed Paid Memberships Pro – bbPress Add On but the forums still public.

Can you please login and see what is going on?
I need the forums to be viewable only to members.

I have tried few ways to make it work but not luck..
