Create fixed height text box with scroll bar

I would like to create a text box for the home page that displays a list of events from our calendar via a shortcode, but keeping it at a fixed height of 450 px adding a scroll bar to show the overflow text. How would I go about doing this?

Hi, You need to find a plugin or develop this functionality yourself since that can’t be achieved by default with the theme.

we put the plugin in a div box to accomplish this.
