    Hello,

I created a group now i would like it to post to the bottom of the home page.(Recently Active User Groups) I cant seem to get it there. Also, I’d like to invite everyone but it will only let me invite people who are my friends. How can I inver everyone? Another thing, (Who can invite others to this group?) I want it to be everyone but it limits to group members only. I’d like this to be as open as possible.
    Anyway to make this happen?

Hello, the group will appear there when it is active, like for example, a new member joins etc. You can set up all those options when you are creating your group ,i would suggest to create it from the frontend of your website, it will guide you step to step 🙂
Let me know if it helps

Hello, go to Settings > Buddypress > Pages and make sure you have a page for each one. Then go to Settings > Buddypress > Settings and if Creation of a group is allowed for users, you will see it in frontend, if not, you can create if from groups section in backend. Try to create some activity in the group, and see if its showing, if not, deactivate your plugins but buddypress and check if its working.

Still no luck! I created a group in the back end, joined some members, still isn’t showing on the front end. Still can’t create one on the front end. I can only add members to the group that are my friends, i’d like to add everyone! Also make it public under the Recent Groups…?

    Any Ideas?
    Thanks

Hi, that is default Buddypress behavior to add only friends. Try looking for a plugin to override that functionality. Try clearing your cache if you use a caching plugin
