Creating My Account Page

How do I create a “My Account” menu option like the one listed in the tutorial video?

Admin -> Appearance -> Menus.

Click on Links
URL = #
Link Text = My Account
Click Add to Menu

After its added to the menu, position where you want it then add BuddyPress menu items under it.

On the menu editor screen, make sure you’ve gone in to “Screen Options” and enabled the BuddyPress option (it’s disabled by default) which adds loads of new menu items. There are options in there for profile, etc., and you can customise the menu text they use. Also, check BP Direct Menus if you need more advanced menus.
