I’ve finished watching the KLEO video (three times) and am just getting things dialed in. After hours of working on this, I’m cracking and admitting I need to ask for help.
The registration page on my site (elementalfuneral.com) takes me directly to the KLEO template registration page (http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/register). When I go to edit the registration page > all pages> Register, there is a blank page with no template at all. If you go to view the page, it defaults back to the home page.
In Buddypress settings, it is set for Register as the registration page. I can’t find where it is directing it to seventhqueen, or where a registration template may be so that I could customize it.
Any help would be appreciated.
May 5, 2014 at 16:10 #16908sharmstrModeratorSlight correction in your wording. The registration page on your site does NOT take you to Kleo. The registration links on your site do. This happens when you import the Kleo demo content.
Here’s your registration page: http://elementalfuneral.com/register/
See fix here: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/registration-2

My registration page automatically drops me into my home page and I’m not seeing a solution to fix it. I’ve deleted the original Registration link in Menus and replaced it with one that goes to http://elementalfuneral.com/register/
I’ve also tried to set the registration page up with a FB integration (code from FB web app developer site) as well as a standard registration form and I can’t find the settings for the life of me to get it to do anything than to default to Home Default. Is there a template Registration page that I could hang code on rather than the blank page?
Any thoughts would help.
May 6, 2014 at 10:49 #16959sharmstrModeratorDon’t create the registration menu item by creating a link. Use the BuddyPress registration item. If you dont see any of the BuddyPress items to add, then click on ‘screen options’ in the upper right hand corner and enable them. In doing it this way, it will be hidden once someone is logged in.
I went to your registration page and its NOT redirecting me. But, you dont have registration turned on. Go to Admin -> Settings -> General and click ‘anyone can register’.
Let me know if that doesnt fix everything for you.
You should take some time and read up on BuddyPress basics. Kleo will make things look great, but it will not configure your site for you. It will save you time and headaches in the long run 🙂
