Creating Topics in the Forum is Extrememly Slow

Hello,

Whenever I submit or answer a topic in the forum it takes about a minute after hitting Submit before it finally goes through.

What could be holding this up?

Also, updates aren’t received by email. Anything I should look at there?

Thank you for your quick reply Radu.

As far as the slowness of submitting a topic. The entire site is fine, emails go through quickly as does everything else, it is just submitting the topic, and responding to the topic.

Updates go through quickly as well.

I installed the P3 Performance Profiler and buddy press and buddy press media use half of the entire time.

The buddypress media is a heavy plugin…

Regarding the time that you wait when submit a topic think is a server related setting or something ask your hosting service
