Custom “featured” Carousel

Hi,

I was wondering, is there a way to customize the “featured” carousel on the blog page (in my case, the front page)? I would like to use it but without the entry summery.

I also wanted to know if there is a way to get the carousel to run on auto instead of the nav buttons.
