Custom fields at GeoDirectory and Search

Hi,

I’d to use Get Connected demo as landing page to build professional network and to allow to members to make small business directory . It means I need to make additional “Business Directory” page. I think to use Directory demo page for that. #1. Will not be any conflicts between Get Connected and Business Directory pages?

#2. Another question is I’d like to add some custom fields (number of branches, employees, total sales, etc.). Can I make it for the business directory? And #3 can I use it for the same search approach as it is on Get Connected page? I mean that there will be member search on Get Connected homepage, and company search on Directory page at the same time.

1 – I dont understand what you mean by conflict. You can have a Get Connected Page and a Business Directory page on your site, no problem. If you will be allowing your buddypress members to add to the directory, you may want to check out this Geo Directory add-on: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/buddypress-integration/

3 – Again, if they are separate pages, it wont be an issue.
