BenjiJune 10, 2015 at 05:41 #61753BDecker19Participantfyi, have tried adding them in the header box in page edit screens, although it doesn’t seem to accept HTML and I can’t figure out how to structure as a shortcode?
June 10, 2015 at 14:33 #61769LauraModeratorHello, you can use visual composer at the top of each page, or edit header.php and add html with echos

Although hmmm… seems like it’s not liking php either?
See links:

http://take.ms/9FSvJAnd you can’t edit the header with visual composer, right?
June 10, 2015 at 14:46 #61781LauraModeratorHello, do not edit header in wp admin, edit the header.php in your ftp files 🙂
And no, you cannot edit header.php in visual composerHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

June 10, 2015 at 16:08 #61795BDecker19ParticipantIf edit header.php, how then do you have different banner images for different pages?
June 10, 2015 at 16:10 #61796LauraModeratorOh sorry thought you wanted the same image, then you can use Visual Composer in each page and use the Unique Image element at the top of the page

June 10, 2015 at 16:28 #61803BDecker19ParticipantOk, cool. To be clear, not in the header though, right? So if there’s a side bar, the image couldn’t go over it, just next to it… correct?
June 10, 2015 at 16:33 #61805LauraModeratorYes

June 18, 2015 at 14:27 #63636BDecker19ParticipantI just realized on this. The ‘custom header content’ box (http://take.ms/MbrvT) doesn’t seem to like html or php, correct?
Assuming not, couldn’t I just create the image I want in the visual composer, then copy over the shortcode it produces? The header box does seem to accept shortcodes…
June 18, 2015 at 17:34 #63678sharmstrModeratorThe header/bottom content fields have been updated in the next minor release and will accept html. I’ve tested it and you will be able to add an image like this
COPY CODE<img src="http://localhost:8080/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/kleo_buddypress_bbpress_rtmedia.png" />
To answer your question though, yes you can put the single image shortcode in there now.

June 20, 2015 at 03:16 #64020KieranParticipantDoes VC definitely work in the head option for pages? I have never successfully gotten anything to show.
June 20, 2015 at 16:07 #64037sharmstrModeratorSome shortcodes do. Some don’t. But that has been fixed in 3.0.2.
