Custom Menu

How does the custom menu work?

I see that when i login, more sub menu popup under my account.
How can i add or edit those menu?

When i login, i see more sub menu under “my account”, but when i go to appearance and menu to edit, I can not fig out how to got those sub menu to know how to only show up when a user is login.
