Custom Post Type – Visual Composer

Hi,

I am using long sentences to help other one…I could not find on forums. I read this article but dont understand https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-post-type-and-visual-composer-grid-block?replies=13

First, i dont want to use normal post and post category (except default uncategorized) so i created such as custom post type “my music” and new taxonomy with sub-category which music type (pop, latin etc).

I can see on my dasboard (My music POst), and i can create new music posts also can add taxononomy. Also i can manage with user role editor this new custom post type.

i can access mydomin.com/mymusic/test-music-post-1 everything is ok… BUT

Trying to use Visual composer on new PAGE. I can see checkbox on News focus or Post grid but “my music post” is not coming and dont show music post…

It works fine for me an my custom post types. Did you mistakenly put anything in the categories or tag filter?

i am doing something wrong, i know but how? Im sending visual composer pictures.

A – I deacivaed CPT UI and installed TYPES pluging but still dont call new post types such as book
B – I can access mydomain/book and mydomain.com/book/newposttyep-test-book-1
C – I cretaed category also for new post type “book” and tried to call by category but dont show.

Should i add something on kleo child function.php?
and
what should be my new type setting option (actually i tried all)

Looks like you’re putting it on your blogs page? You shouldn’t do that.

The VC post grid will never show your cpt. You have to build a custom query for it. https://www.design33.net/how-to-visual-composers-grid-custom-query/

i cant believe this 🙂 i was working on kleo blog , last 20 days, i am testing lots of pluging with kleo before open my site. I think need more sleep…
