Customer is being charged even if he’s not a VIP member anymore

Hi,

For testing purposes, I have created a false profile on my dating website and I registered into a premium account, with recurring payement. I added my credit card and everything was OK.

 

Then, I changed the user from premium to free account, but my card still being charged. Is it because we have to click on “Cancel this user’s subscription at the gateway.” on the edit profile page?

 

Are you sure that if the user change its own membership by himself, he will not be charged anymore?

 

I’m asking because I don’t want to charge someone if he’s not a premium member anymore!

Hi,

If you are using pmpro levels you should contact the paid memberships pro team since the questions for the payment flow trough pmpro are directly related to their plugin.

Also check the membership options

Ask the same on their support.
