customize page 404

i need to customize the page 404. i want to disable the sidebar of it and i also want the template as a blank template only. please help. thanks

is there anyway i can achieve this by editing the 404 page itself not using plugins?

Yes but you need to know how to handle php files, copy the 404.php file form wp-content/themes/kleo/ to wp-content/thems/kleo-child/ and customize it as you want
