    Hello,
I would like to customize the search box in the homepage with some other fields I’ve created in buddypress profile section.

I’ve found out that the file for the form is located into page-parts folder and the file is named home-search-form.php.

I edit but when I try to save it, it says error 550 from the server and won’t let me update it.
Any idea how to solve this?

How can I change the fields in the form so that they link with fields i’ve created in buddypress?

Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.

    Claudio

    Hi fingolfin75,
You don’t need to edit home-search-form.php, you only need to define your custom fields in users/profile fields and choose from Sweetdate/Buddypress what you want to apear in your search form. Also you ned to have latest update(1.3)

We’ve setup a simple demo to illustrate different fields in a search form: http://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp-travel/
