Default template for "Theme General Settings"

I can’t seem to find a way to setup a default theme template for the header. For example, I want to set up the defaults so that a new page will have a transparent header with some padding at the top, centered title, and a standard image in the background. like this: http://screencast.com/t/eMHL7MTkx8. I can find the place to set some of these defaults, but not all Do I have to set stuff like background image and title alignment on every page individually? I guess I could also do it via CSS, but that wouldn’t be preferably because then if I wanted to do one without the background image, for example, I wouldn’t be able to do that.

I dont know that you can. You can make a template out of all the VC code, but I dont know of a way (if its possible) to do that with the page options. When you set up the meta boxes (options) you define the default setting for each. Kleo does allow from some global overrides in Theme Options. Some of the options are pretty recent and havent made their way back to the Theme Options page yet. But again, that’s global. So lets say that you want transparent main menu on pages but not on posts. At this point, there’s no way to do that via WP Admin, short of turning it off globally, then making sure you enable it on every page you publish.

If you are php savy, you can certainly edit the kleo template files to achieve what you want.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I’ve done it with css since this client hopefully will only want one standard background image, but could certainly see this as something that would be handy, if possible, to add in a future update. It would be nice to be able to set global defaults for page title font size, page title alignment, and title background image or color.
