designing the home page

Hi,

We are using Kleo them in one of our sites. While customizing the home page have encountered the following doubts. Since we are new to the theme can you please help us clarify the same.

1) In our home page we used the tabs option with 3 tabs. When I put the tab titles as as post 1, post 2 and post 3 I can see that the tabs appear properly but when I change the tab titles to Recent Post 1, Recent Post 2 and Recent Post 3 the tabs are not appearing as expected. Is there any limitation to the number of characters that we can add to the tab title?

When I click on edit tab from the classic mode I can just see an option to change the title, tab ID and Icon. Is there any other place where I should change the length of the characters to be allowed as tab title?

2) Featured items Grid: Where can I change the icon image, I can only see the optio to choose coloured or bordered icons, but no option is available to change the icon if I click on edit featured settings

3) We would like to use the toggle option for having the recent forum comments. That is we need to have 3 toggles: Comment 1, Comment 2, Comment 3. The Comment 1 toggle when expanded should show us the latest comment in the forum, Comment 2 must show the second last comment in the forum and Comment 3 the one before that.
Is it possible to achieve this using toggle option? If so how can we do the same?

4) Footer — We need only 3 columns in the footer. Can we achive this without modifying the theme file?

1: I couldn’t recreate you issue. I thought maybe it was happening because you had the tab container in a small column, but even when I try that I can see a long tab name. Do you have a link where we can see what’s going on? See my test attached

1. Please find the attached image for issue 1 where you can see that the Recent Posts 3 comes in extreme right below the + sign. Did you try adding 3 tabs with long titles because in your image I can see only 2 tabs. Can you please try adding 3 tabs and see if the tabs come up properly?

2. What I have mentioend is featured items grid. Please find the attached image where I have no option to choose the icon image under feature items grid settings.

3. Any options for achieveing this?

1 – Still cant recreate your issue. See image.

2 – I know you mentioned grid, but the icons are set using the featured item seetings, not the grid settings. The grid merely holds the icons. There are icons for each featured item, therefore you set them at the item level, not the grid level.

3 – I dont know of any way to do this using Kleo options. You’ll probably have to write custom code for that.

(btw – I’m not part of the kleo team. just a user like you.)
