Different 'Display type' in categories

I would like to have some of my category displaying posts in a grid masonry format while others display them in a a small left thumb nail format. But I could not undestand what I have to change in the template to make it happen. Sorry about this total noob question.

Hello, you can do this with kleo visual composer post grid or with kleo shortcodes, but on a page you design, you cannot change how the category search layout looks depending on the category, only 1 layout can work
