Display bug for attach media when using RT Media and BuddyPress Activity Privacy

When I use Kleo with rtMedia and BuddyPress activity privacy I get an unusual bug in which I am unable to see or select the attach media button without clicking on the update box and then the rough area where the button should be appearing.

At first I thought this to be a BuddyPress Activity Privacy issue, however, when I switch to the 2014 theme with both plugins still activated it functions as expected, the attach media button is always displayed.

I’m running the latest updates of Kleo, BuddyPress Activity Privacy and rtMedia Pro

Any thoughts on this issue?

This is not a Kleo bug since kleo doesnt claim to work with that plugin. I’m going to move this ticket.

With that said, give me a link and credentials and I’ll take a look at it for you.

We were on a very nice server until not too long ago, but we lost funding for the project and as such closed shop and moved it back to our general test server. Which is poo 🙁 but hey-ho

So, is the issue that the attach file button doesnt show up until you click in the box? Its always been that way. The reason they do that is because you cant attach a file until without typing an update. Look at my old 2.4.3 site. I’ll give you credentials in the next reply.

Hi, I just looked at your example and that is how it should work. What I have is when I click the box, no attach media button shows, I then have to click off on the page in a random place to get the button to show up. Which means most users won’t be able to identify when posting an update they can add media.
