Hi I let myself refresh one of the topic because I have the same problem and maybe it was solved
“Hi folks
I’m looking for a way to display the users first name + last name on my BuddyPress (w/Kleo) site.
I changed the Primary field of “full name” to “first name” and then added my own field for “last name” on the Registration page, so the first and last names of a new user are required to be input into two separate fields.
I’ve looked on the forum here and in several other places but haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. I’m hoping someone has figured out a method to combine first name + last name fields like this, so that the full name of a user can be displayed this way throughout the site.
Any help with this is gratefully appreciated.”
November 6, 2015 at 18:34 #85988RaduModeratorHi szmek9,
First of all let’s see if one of these plugins are helping you :
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-display-name/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-real-names/
Please test the plugins even it says :
This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.Let me know

buddypress real names don’t work, changes only in activity to full names, and I want it to be full names everywhere for example here
http://bimv.pl/members/
Now it’s incosistent when someone log-ins through social login they have full names and the others don’t
And this plugin changes registration field Name to Nickname, and I can’t change it.BP-DISPLAY NAMES
Don’t work. I guess The problem is that Last Name is on the extended profile page and on Profile Tab this field is empty…November 9, 2015 at 17:45 #86403RaduModeratorHi,

If they choose in profile fields to Show Last Name to Everyone I want it to be visible, if its visibility is set “Just Me” hide it. Now it’s inconsistent, when people log through facebook which shows Full Name.
Code You gave Us helps in this page
http://bimv.pl/members/But it din’t work in others, like this one.
http://bimv.pl/spolecznosc/Can I count on your help ?
January 19, 2016 at 13:07 #99264szmek9ParticipantI forgot to mention in previous post that. I also would lik it to be consisten also in activity stream, and Forum. Hope I don’t ask for too much…:)
January 19, 2016 at 18:39 #99345AndreiModeratorHi,
Unfortunately this won’t be possible without some serious developments in order to filter or edit template files of all plugins that display the user name, sadly there isn’t a general filter to change and that’s it and will require lot of work to do what you want because each plugin in part structures/formats the name by their own will.
Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Cheers

http://bimv.pl/spolecznosc/
as you did in the other one ?January 20, 2016 at 00:00 #99398AndreiModeratorIn that page you have several elements and each of them will require custom modifications, so there’s really not a quick easy fix for this.
