Displaying more groups with descriptions & space annoyance

Is there any shortcode to display more groups with descriptions like the ones used in the demo? The demo used [kleo_recent_groups] and I’m wondering if it’s possible to specify a number like 8 and make them random?
I tried to no avail:

[kleo_section centered=1][kleo_row][kleo_recent_groups=9][/kleo_row][/kleo_section]
[kleo_section centered=1][kleo_row][kleo_active_groups=9][/kleo_row][/kleo_section]

After trying the Groups grid I notice that it doesn’t display a name for the groups which for some reason isn’t as appealing.

Spacing
Is there anything which can be done to resolve the spacing issue highlighted in the attached image? I have two-columns yet regardless of what steps I try the spacing remains.

Scratch the spacing issue as I chose a different layout.

Hoping my search criteria and that there’s already a reply to adding additional groups with descriptions.

Hi, you can use it like [kleo_recent_groups max=9] to specify the number of groups to show but there is no option for the random
