Currently, I have a parallax row as the first element on my home page. The parallax image is showing through as the background of my heading. It appears that I have the main header set to transparent, but I have looked through all of the options and can’t find out where to make these changes. I would like to set the main header to white and my navigation menu on the header to #333333. Can you walk me through the styling options for the KLEO template so that I can better understand which setting affects what?
I love the template, but some of the basic stuff like header colors, etc is hard to figure out.

February 18, 2016 at 20:40 #104848tlovvornParticipantI found out where transparent header was selected, turned it off, but the first row is still showing through the header. It did turn my main menu text color to red, which is what I had set it for, but for some reason it still isn’t recognizing the background for the header as white. Where do I change the background color of the header or do I still have a transparent setting selected somewhere?
February 18, 2016 at 20:51 #104856sharmstrModeratorYou have it turned on for that page though.
Edit the page, scroll down to Theme General Settings.

February 18, 2016 at 21:15 #104864sharmstrModeratorThere are two ways transparency is turned on for the header. Either in Theme Options or at the page level. Hope that clears things up.

February 18, 2016 at 21:28 #104871tlovvornParticipantI have checked there but I do not see a place on the Theme options>Header Options to change the transparency of the header. Under Theme Options>Styling Options…I sent you the screen shot showing that none of the transparency boxes are checked.
February 18, 2016 at 21:37 #104872sharmstrModeratorTheme options – header. Not theme options – styling – header 🙂

February 19, 2016 at 17:45 #105093tlovvornParticipantPlease help me figure out where you went to do that. I know it is Theme Options> Header according to your earlier post, but all I see on my end is Theme Options > Header options and Theme Options > Styling Options > Header. What am I missing? Can you send me a screen shot of where to find that setting?
February 19, 2016 at 17:50 #105100sharmstrModeratorTheme Options > Header: Within Sticky main menu options. I’ll be talking to the developers about disabling that option if Sticky menu is turned off.

February 19, 2016 at 17:53 #105101tlovvornParticipantYes that would be a good call because it is a setting that impacts the overall design and you can’t even see it if Sticky Menu is turned off. Not even sure what is meant by “Sticky Menu” so I would have never thought to look there for that option.
February 19, 2016 at 17:54 #105103sharmstrModeratorSticky menu will keep the menu visible when you scroll down a page. Its makes it stick(y) to the top 🙂
Request sent.

February 19, 2016 at 17:58 #105109tlovvornParticipantOk…now I simply changed the header layout back to the option that has the logo at the top left of the header instead of the top right and the background color changed from #FFFFFF to a grey color. There seem to be so many header settings that are linked together and it is very hard to understand how changing one thing seems to effect so many things. I want the logo to be top left and bright white header background.
February 19, 2016 at 18:13 #105115sharmstrModeratorThat’s on you my friend. You are overriding the white background in Theme Options > General > Quick CSS

February 19, 2016 at 18:28 #105121sharmstrModeratorOkay – The devs have changed how that option works in the next update.
