Double Menu

When people in my community go into a group, they see 2 menus show up, this only happens when in groups.I don’t know how to remove this and need some help. Here’s a picture included to show what I’m talking about.

I cannot see two menus in the screenshot and also when i click to link it ask me to login, so provide the login credentials to check and point out in that screenshot that second menu.

Hi there,

I am not sure if I am allowed to post here but I can’t raise topics for some reason, I am having the same issue since the last update of the theme

The menu appears 2 times for any page related to Buddypress, I tried with other themes than Kleo however there isn’t duplicate menu with all other themes.

I am using the lastest version of everything “WordPress, Kleo, Buddypress, …”

Please find attached screenshot.

Appreciate your support here and maybe advise on how to raise separate topics in the future.

P.S. Is there a way to install older version from the theme so I can double check again that it’s a problem with the latest version?

Hi Radu,

I have updated KLEO theme yesterday. I am also facing same problem MENU is repeated twice.

After updating to newer version, i have noticed this bug. I rolled back to older version and MENU items displayed properly. Please fix this, i have attached snapshot as well

Hi Radu,

I have verified this already, only the primary is checked.

The interesting thing is that the double menu appears only when a buddypress related page is open for any other pages like the site home page the menu appears correctly.

@aatefsoliman please provide an example page that belongs to BuddyPress from your website.

And please make a screenshot from wp-admin -> theme options -> header options to see what type of header are you using, can you play with those by changing the type of the header to test if the menu it’s duplicated only for certain type/s of the menus.

I have played around with the header options but still facing the same issue, attached screenshot from the settings I am having now.

I am not sure what do you mean by providing a page?

Please advise how to activate a previous version from the theme, I would like to avoid this issue on the site until it’s fixed.

Note: I have an issue now with the login using the Kleo login it just keep saying sending info. however using directly /wp-login.php login is working, want to raise a ticket for that but I still can’t raise new topics and I don’t know why

It works fine on the timeline and other pages, however if you click on groups and go in any group, you’ll still see a double menu.

I tried it on our test servers and it does not act like that. Please disable some plugins that might cause this. Also try to assign a blank menu to the Secondary menu location

I tried nearly everything, disabling caching and all plugins except Buddypress, disabling the child theme but still the same result.
What I noticed is that there is a double menu in the profile and members pages, however on the groups page there is only one menu appearing normally

Please to the next, go to wp-content/themes/ delete KLEO theme and re-upload it again from wp-admin -> appearance -> add new and activate it and check again.

Hi Radu,

I tried deleting the whole theme and reinstalling a fresh copy but still once it’s installed I have double menus again.

Please note that nearly all the plugins are already deactivated and as mentioned before the issue only appeared once I upgraded from Kleo 4.0.8 “I think” to 4.1.2

For the FTP access please connect using the the IP address 192.185.4.146 instead of the domain name, I just tried it now using the provided account and it’s working.

If you install now kleo 4.0.8 instead the current version you have a single menu right ? you can find an older theme version in themeforest package, if you will install an older theme leave it to can test something with old version
