Edit layout of Search Form

Hello,

How can I edit the layout of the Search Form (fields) on Members page?

E.g. make the search button bigger, reposition the field boxes, etc.

Hello, the fields doesnt have a title, so that layout cant be done with just css, its needed php. To have that layout i suggest to hire a developer. What i can do is make fields bigger, smaller, move them, change colors. I can work with what you see but to add a title to them that is not available with css

Hey Laura,

Thank you for the info. In that case, if we leave out the text in front of the boxes – how can we make the same layout as the photo I attached, leaving out the text in front of the boxes?

In short: the field sizes are the same. Fields on left side are:
1. Looking for
2. Age from
3. Age to
4. “City” – from the GeomyWP
5. “Distance From” (akas “Kilometers”) – from the GeomyWP.

Fields on right side are:
1. Education
2. Has Children
3. Has Children’s Wish
4. Smoking
5. Order by (distance, active, etc.)

The search button needs to be long in width (see rough size in attached photo) and pink.

P.S: I will need to know how to do this in order to be able to adjust which fields show up and the color of the “Search” button in the future 🙂

Hi Laura,

We’ve been thinking of setting it up as shown in the (very draft :)) attachment, each button being the same size (height and width) including the search button. Height can be the same as the current buttons in search area. No borders around the buttons (borders colors around buttons in the attachment is not correct).

Search button has following color: 6ad9d5

First row (from left to right): Looking For, Age from, Age to
Second row (from left to right): GEOmyWP City, Distance km, Education
Third row (from left to right): Smoker, Children, Children’s Wish

The word “results” in Profile Search results is also red/pink – how to change that to 6ad9d5?
