ParticipantHi,
When I go to my profile and click edit, it takes me to “edit address” page with this shortcode:
[woocommerce_my_account]If I activated woocommerce I get “edit billing address” and “edit shipping address”

ParticipantHi,
Then how can I edit profile fields under base, and the rest of tabs?March 16, 2014 at 14:57 #12795Abe
KeymasterThen the problem is your link since the one to edit your profile should be something like /user/profile/edit

ParticipantHi,
Please let me know what details you need me to provide?
I want to be able to edit my profile (and of course all website’s members to edit theirs).
But for some reason when I click “edit” in profile > next to view it goes to http://xxxx.com/members/xxxx/profile/edit/
then after a second redirects to http://xxxx.com/my-account/edit-address/Thanks for your fast response.

ParticipantAlright,
Here’s a screenshot of the link I’m clicking:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/fbw7k01ddxcbrvx/click.png
Also if I click “edit my profile” on the top-right of any page. When I first click on it I get this:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/2blibxx7vmr8cyj/Edit_link_redirect.pngThen it redirects according to the following:
A. If woocommerce pages are published, specifically the edit my address page, it redirects to it as shown here:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/b58tt5l8yfai478/woocommerce.pngB. If I delete woocommerce page (edit address), It redirects to group page, as shown here:

KeymasterThose links are generated by Buddypress so when you hove it you should the the actual link something like /username/profile/edit.
If it does a redirect to other pages then could be of some code you added for some redirections, a plugin that does that or some error in you database. Try doing a clean install since this is not a normal behavior of Buddypress nor the themeHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question.
