Hi, I want to edit the error 404 page not found page and customise this template, however when I edit the “404-page” in the theme pages section and save it my changes are not being seen in the live error 404 – not found. It looks like the live error “404 not found” is not the “404-page” I am editing as it has a different 404 naming convention.  I searched for info on which 404 page is used by the theme and how to edit it but couldn’t find anything. Please can you provide some direction.

    cheers /Tim

Both are served via php templates. Copy them to your child theme and edit as you wish.

    404: /kleo/page-templates/404-page.php

    Search: /kleo/search.php

This is my path to edit my 404 page: kleo-child/page-templates/404-page.php

I’ve tried to make a small change to the text, but it’s not being reflected. Is there any other files that I need to add to my child theme for this to work? I only want to change the image and text, everything else will remain the same.

    Thank you.

    Copy /kleo/404.php to /kleo-child/404.php.

This is correct: Copy /kleo/404.php to /kleo-child/404.php.

    Hi Sharmstr,

I already copied the 404.php from Kleo to Kleo-child, how can I edit now? where I could find it to edit it with the Visual Composer?

    Cheers,
    Miguel
