As Admin i see the dashboard and everything.

I want to have an editor (redaktor) to allow this person to post, add places, even use some plug-ins but with the rights of an editor he only see the top menu but have no access to the full dashboard and menus. If i give to the user the administrator right, then he can use everything (but i want to avoid this)

    Any help?

    Thanks

    Sidney

Hello, this may help https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-roles-and-capabilities/ you need to edit roles and capabilities to do that, but do not touch admin capabilities!

    Hi Laura
thanks. Also with this tool is not working. As admin i can access the dashboard and every other points.
I can give to my test user the admin rights and he will see the full menus and dashboard. if i choose as role editor (with all admin rights selected), he just see the upper menu and cannot access dashboard or post a new article. it stays on the same starting homepage .. i can create a user for you with editor rights and you will see what i mean if you want.

Hello, editor might not be the right role, have you tried author or contributor?
If you want to share access i can check it
