Elementor home page shows 2 register forms

Hello, I can’t figure out why there is a second form, which looks like the default SD one, within the Elementor edit page. The FORM pic attached seems to be where it is placed, I can see the carousel images scrolling as well, and I can’t access it (clicking on it) nor find on the Dash where this is coming from. Can you help remove?

Hi that removed the wrong form. We’re trying to use the other form. That sweetdate one sits low on the site and the carousel gets cut at the bottom. I’m assuming the forms at Sweetdate>Buddypress Main Form/Horizontal Form (Deprecated) isn’t being used anymore? So I don’t know how to change the text, etc.

Hi I think also that second form breaks the slider wallpaper? We can’t figure out why the bottom blue that extends past the background image..

Also maybe related, when I’m signed out, and try to log in or sign up at the top right corner, the pop up form is broken and I cannot click into the textfields to input a username and password etc. I can click to other pages like forum, blog, activity and the forms work, but not on the home page. Hopefully if we can address that registration form it’s somehow connected.

Hello, please disable everything here, uncheck fields and disable dropdowns. This Homepage settings are deprecated so they shouldn’t be setup, its what its causing the issue

Hi it removed it but kept the wrong form? You can see it sits poorly and the password fields are misaligned. Also when clicking to sign up on the Home page that pop up is still broke. Can’t click in the text fields.

The Slider buttons work on the Dash under Elementor but are not clickable on the site, like the pop up form. Don’t know if this is all related?

Also noticed in pic Home4 the search form option is backwards “I am looking for” then comes “I am”

I am using on the Dashboard Pages pg2 Welcome Front Page Elementor because it has the correct url of http://www.thelove4life.com as oppose to others that have home-2 etc I don’t know if that makes a difference with all this formatting.. 🙁

At the moment, none of the top links (Appearance/Menus) are clickable on the home page. Right now only works on mobile (drop down menus), I’m on 3 computers and the Homepage is broke.

Also on mobile it shows a search form, I originally had that option removed along with the Slider. The slider is removed but the form is there!?

Hmm I don’t know what’s going on. I can only assume it’s related to that form.

The Top Nav bar disappears as you scroll down. You can see the process in the pic demos.

Do all your changes on your staging website then move the staging to live, why you will want to do the work twice ?

So, please work on your staging cuz there some solutions was given and move… those to live..

Hi, there wasn’t 2 forms until I started working with the Elementor page. I had thought that was what I did by your description there and that was in regards to the Members Search page.

I used the Page that is described as -Front Page Elementor which had the site url proper.
I could not find one that has http://www.thelove4life.com/home-sweetdate-3-0/ to work with.

Only ones I found were: site/a-homepage-section/ – site/home/ – site/home-2/ – site/home-3/
So I don’t know if I’m missing something here.

Under Settings>Readings>Front Page> I selected the one that I was working on because it was the only one that showed up. I had titled it Welcome. There wasn’t any other option other then Blog, About Us, etc which were active Pages I had created.

I apologize for all the posts and realize that it can be confusing. I wish this wasn’t happening, I have spent a year learning and working with the theme already and was nearly done and content with it until the site crashed on my end and I couldn’t find the original theme version I used and now the update has me feeling I’m back at day one.

Hello, please wait for the new release of the theme that will include a fix for elementor, and then maybe it would be easier to fix the issue, i am happy to help by providing the temp fix but i need ftp access

Hello Laura, thanks. While that is the correct form register I was hoping for, there are still issues on the home page. The sign up form doesn’t work, Can’t click in fields, drop down links do not work either on the main links, and top nav bar disappears on the scroll.

Before there was an option to hide all forms on the home page once registered. I can’t find this option on Elementor, only option I found was under Responsive but it removes it completely.
