Email sent from Website regarding a password reset or password change

Hi Support,

I would like to change the email address that my password reset or password changes go to.  Do you know where this is located in the basic WordPress platform?

Also within the email, it references “Username” but it is set to a generic username and not the specific username.  I would like to change it to the real username.  Any ideas?

Hello, please check at emails section of the admin dashboard, maybe the template is not correct and the username tag is wrong. About the email, do you mean the one at Settings > General ?

Hi Laura – thanks for your reply. No neither of those locations helped. If someone tries to log into the website and they forget their password. They click on “Forgot Password?” link and then an email is sent to me but in the email it says “Username: Treyburn” but the username is not Treyburn. I also want to change who this email goes to.

I am attaching a copy of the email in case it helps!

Hi R – I continued testing this issue this morning and now it appears to be OK. Maybe when I applied the latest release of Kleo, it fixed it? Not sure but it’s no longer a problem.

Hi,

I don’t think so cuz the kleo doesn’t manipulate that, maybe it was comes from something else ? not sure what, like cache other plugins or the hosting? not sure
